Over the last few years, internet access in Bali has made some major leaps forward. A host of internet service providers or ISP’s have set up shop in Bali, giving both commercial and private customers a relatively wide choice of services. Blueline, Telkom Speedy, Global Xtreme, Indosat, Channel 11 are just some of the ISPs available. Yet as little as four years ago, downloading media files was a process best measured in geological time and as for streams, they were frozen most of the time.

Indonesian a three-tiered safety rating system covering all domestic air passenger and air cargo providers.

Under the new system, three classifications levels are now in effect:

• Category 1 – For carriers completely satisfying all the safety requirements set forth in the National Civil Aviation Regulations (CASR). Based on recently performed audits of all air carriers, no Indonesian Airline has qualified for the top category.

• Category 2 – For carriers able to meet minimal safety requirements but with outstanding deficiencies in their safety standards as identified by government auditors. The following airlines were assigned Category 2 status by the Indonesian Department of Civil Aviation:

• Ekspress Transportasi Antarbenua • Garuda Indonesia

Rainy Season Bali Fishing Activity

The rainy season in Bali on this February to March doesn’t slow down the water sport and water activity for the tourist. In the rainy season mostly the fish come out to the surface so the fishing activity can be more optimal to attract the tourist. The height of the rain volume can not much effect to this water sport. The vendor only more careful to anticipate for the big wind and offshore tornado.

If you are considering a vacation to Bali, it is important to know that it is usually very hot the entire year. Therefore, it is essential that you dress lightly and be respectful with your clothing. Real Estate in Bali

In the twilight of the evening local people are gathering, fully dressed in the Balinese. traditional clothes. The women carry offerings with fruit on their head as if they have no weight. The typical bewildering Balinese music can be heard from afar and makes one feel a part of a different world, a magical world. Tonight a 3 month old baby is about to undertake his first important ceremony, one out of 13 in his life. Only after three months and after this ceremony has taken place is a baby is allowed to touch the ground, as its status as a god will be changed to that of a human being.

These types of ceremonies and many more are taking place constantly all over Bali in a family temple or a village temple. The Balinese culture, religion and sense of community are part of daily life for young and old. Each family compound has its own temple. In total Bali has more then 10,000 temples.… Continue reading

Bali Hotel Nyepi Packages 2007

There is only a few of city hotels around Denpasar that offer Nyepi packages, this condition because the hotel-booking of domestic tourists is very low. Many hotel management in Bali decide not to over the Nyepi Packages base on last year experience. Most of the city-hotels in Denpasar Bali can’t provide eatery facilities like restaurant because leak of the resources during the Nyepi other condition because mostly of the employees are Balinese so they all celebrating the Nyepi and taking a day off.
